To broadly continue along the line of street art, here is an excellent  Belgian artist (btw, born in -77). And as you can see his work is all about love. Which is absolutely the best subject for art and that definitely shows in his work. The pictures are from his projects called Streetlove and  Love Injections and also from some canvas work. I don't really know what to say about him, since his work obviously speaks for everything I want to say. Thus, I would encourage you to read his bio, because it's simply fucking funny! In the words of Wooster Collective, every girl should have a romantic guy like him. Lucky me. Enjoy this little dose of lovely street art.

Streetlove is about creating and interaction between people and love represented by objects, words or paintings on the streets, in order to make people think and rethink their relationships, their own situation and love itself.

Hey Isa, do you know what you do to me?

English is not my native language and there's only one person I regularly speak it with. She's the first girl who ever called me her boyfriend and not 'liefje', the Dutch word for that. I don't really know her thàt long yet but already it's her name I repeat while I'm sleeping. She's on my mind when I go to bed and she's still there when I wake up. Gets me through the day.

I don't see her as often as I'd want to yet and there's this Atlantic ocean between us - momentarily - but that will get solved. We took time by its hands and somehow learned how to squeeze and stretch it to our will. Or at least we're trying.

There is something about this girl... I hear songs when I hear her voice and I see my life as if they were movie scenes when I'm with her. She brings out the unknown in me, in every possible good way. I fail to be the tough guy I like to think I am and melt when she's around. I'm glad she doesn't mind.

I will never let this one go.

Corinne Bailey Rae is gorgeous and so is my lover.

She is absolutely fabulous, capturing, fascinating and so gorgeous. Her beautiful voice singing those lyrics makes me smile like a fool. I don't think much needs to be said here because her performance speaks for itself.

I will leave you to enjoy this beauty and continue sinking deeper into this developing, beautiful, mellow feeling he gives me.

YOU ARE THE BEAUTIFUL ONE.

I know I'm the one who listens to extremely cliché, mainstream music BUT I cannot help that I happen to enjoy Beyoncé.

So, here is her performing The Beautiful Ones and Sex On Fire at this year's (2011) Glastonbury. I love those songs in their original form but I also love what she did to them. I know some people think she is a bit over-the-top and too much but I love the energy and strength she puts into her performance... So you will simply have to bare through this with me. Enjoy.

Seen this band twice now, once while working for them at a beach festival, once at the beautiful Cactus Festival in Bruges, and every time they put on a great show. The vibes, the atmosphere... these guys perfectly know how to get the audience crazy.
